What Motivates YOU?

Is it money, power, family, sex, job or all of the above? I guess this question would kinda depend on what stage you are at in your life, but what really makes you get out of bed in the morning? Is it your boring 9-5 job that is slowly killing you? I mean what keeps us humans going day in and day out. I guess some people just fall into a routine and wake up 20 years later and wonder where their lives went.... Everyone works their whole life just to retire, but by the time they get there it is too late and they have waisted the best part!

Hey, you might as well leave a comment, you know if you hit that next blog button it will just be a dead end with a page full of ads! Or you could go somewhere else......

One never knows what each day is going to bring. The important thing is to be open and ready for it. (henry moore)
There's no need for motivation, enthusiasm will do as well

i think we live trying to know what motivates us. today is power, tomorrow family, next day who knows. the important thing is to feel that what we do right now is the best and what we truly want to do. so at the end of the day or at the endo of our life, we can tell with a smile in our face "yees, i did what i wanted to, and i have all this memories to remind me2

Nothing of the above motivated me ! I have always done what I wanted to do and I never thought about working for my retirement. I always enjoyed life, every part of it and I still do. What motivates me ? Everything I am a curious person !

It's fluid for me. As long as I can keep learning, that is what I care about. And making a contribution to something.

what motivates me is creativity. if i don't have any obligations, and i don't have any desire to DO or MAKE something, i don't see any reason to get out of bed.

Retirement is too far away. i get out of bed to enjoy whatever the day has to bring... don't you just hate positive people?

Freedom.

Everything I am doing now is so that I can eventually break from the bondage and do practically whatever I want and do it on MY schedule.
